Steilacoom Historical School District (SHSD) is gathering input from staff, families, students, and community members to help guide updates to our School Improvement Plans and help design our new District Strategic Plan. Your feedback will help us identify strengths to build on and areas for growth across three key focus areas: Systems, Learning and Culture.

Tremendous things are happening every day in our schools and classrooms, and each of our schools is making meaningful progress toward its goals. We invite you to explore each School Improvement Plan to learn more about the achievements, focus areas, and ongoing work happening in our learning communities.

While we are focusing on our detailed plans for school improvement, we are also beginning the development of a new district-wide Strategic Plan to guide our direction in 2026 and beyond. A strong Strategic Plan reflects the goals, values, and priorities of the entire community, and we want your voice at the center of this process. Your input will help shape the future of our schools and ensure our next chapter builds on the strengths and aspirations of the entire SHSD community.
